Cool clip! I wish I could get hold of this program here in England.

I have seen the steel grille on 230's in wreckers when I was in Finland. It might be possible to get them from there if they are too rare in Japan. I think they were fitted to 230 Cedrics that had diesel engines in Scandinavia.

How's your old Datsuns?

The steel grill you saw in Finland was definitely rare "STD grill" in Japan. It was fitted to Vans and low grade model like a diesel or Taxis. Dog-dish hub caps and STD grill is typical style of "Seibu Keisatsu cars" so some sedan owners might be looking for it.

Regarding these TV programs, I asked my friends about DVD or VIDEO availability, but sorry these programs haven't been released even though in Japan. Only few stories were released in DVD by official production studio as a limited edition, so it will be hard to get them in England... If I found a private collected video or DVD, I might be able to send a copy to you guys.

Yes! And i still have the lens... I have only started to restore my VB10 this year! My website is very old now and I have many different Datsuns now than are shown there. There are only 2 Sunny trucks in the UK and I have both of them!

I will be going to Finland next year so maybe I can try to find some steel grilles for 230 in wreckers there and send them to you?

If you ever find a copy of Seibu Keisatsu or any other TV shows on VHS or DVD I would love to see them. I know it is unlikely though! Have you seen a film called "5000km to glory" That is a Japanese film I would like to see about Datsun 510's in the East African Safari Rally. It was made in 1969 I think.

ども、はじめましてー。私も大都会は再放送世代なので、どうも一部西部警察と記憶がごちゃごちゃになっているのですが、最近改めて見直してみると大都会の方がスタントは味がありますね〜。西部警察は物量勝負的なところがありますので（笑）今後とも宜しくお願いします。
